Double Panels
This treatment is made by laying one panel that is smaller in width and length on top of another. They are pleated together then a small button is added on each side of the pleat. Clusters of buttons going down the sides hold the panels together. I lined both panels but only interlined the back panel.

Ribbon Edge Panel with Goblet Pleats
Liz Ware for Details Pattern Company

Three shades of silk in the raspberry color range combine to create this interesting leading edge treatment. The undulating ribbon features two different colors (one on each side), and each scallop is punctuated with an art glass button. The pleats are gathered goblets.
