Excuse our mess as we wreck out tables and walls. But I wanted to show you the new serger from Sloan Machinery as it was delivered.

We have 3 sergers, one very old, one that is very moody, and that leaves us with only one reliable. If old trusty went down we would be dead in the water. So we ordered a new serger from Sam.

Drapery Comb

We moved the drapery comb into the corner that the single needle was in. This makes much more sense as we can fan fold draperies right by the door on their way out to be stored in the installation staging area.

Notice the rack on the wall for plastic wrap.

Our favorite single needle is now more centrally located and more room around it. Surrounding table is built ready to be covered with vinyl. We cover our tables in vinyl so the fabric will slide, plus we can clean the surface easily.

I just used scrap 3/4 pieces of lumber to make the tables. We screw into the side of the machine table with 1/2 lumber to secure the work surface to the machine table.
